Origin: Chiapas, MexicoBackground Story: This coffee is sourced from family-owned farms organized around the Cooperativa de Produccion Tzeltal-Tzotzil, an organization operating in the northern part of Chiapas, Mexico. Grown and processed on small family-owned farms that also produce local honey, this coffee has exceptional sweetness, low acidity and a well balanced body. Exceptional care is taken by producers to depulp, ferment and dry their coffee, which is aided by the use of farm-owned micro mills. Farm owners and producers have focused on organic production methods to protect the environment, increase overall quality, and gain higher income to improve the livelihood of their families.
Delicious brew...highly recommend!
I really enjoyed the Mexico coffee - it was not bitter at all. I do prefer a more bold, rich coffee, but still liked this one a lot.
